PayStream Advisors Releases Invoice Automation Navigator

Stephanie Dula 30 Jun 2015

PayStream Advisors is excited to announce the release of our new research report, and this one is a little different from our other publications. It’s based on our own proprietary model designed to objectively rank Accounts Payable (AP) automation solutions. The PayStream Invoice Automation NavigatorTM scores AP automation solutions in twelve different categories.

Similarly to other analyst ranking methodologies, the Navigator provides a comparative analysis of solutions that weighs strengths, differentiators, and weaknesses. Ten of the categories are measures of functionality, while two categories—Versatility and Deliverability—focus on solution breadth and customer experience.

Because PayStream’s analysts work closely with accounting, finance, and procurement departments to help them select software solutions that streamline processes, they are in a unique position to fulfill the market’s demand for a quantifiable ranking tool. “We developed the Navigator as we began to see a need in the market for data-driven comparisons during our solution selection engagements,” said Jimmy LeFever, Research Director. “What began as a simple spreadsheet model used to score vendors’ solutions on how they addressed our clients’ requirements was steadily refined into the comprehensive model we now call the NavigatorTM.”

PayStream’s report compares nine invoice automation solutions, including those offered by ADP, Basware, Concur, Coupa, Esker, GEP, Medius, Nipendo, and Tradeshift. To review the rankings and read PayStream’s independent analysis, download the full 2015 Invoice Automation NavigatorTM Report here.
