PayStream Advisors is seeking a Research Analyst to support its growing research practice in Charlotte, NC. This position will report to the Director, Research Services and provide ongoing support to PayStream Advisors' research and consulting practices through the creation of reports and briefs, as well as analytical tools and models.

• Support our research practice through ongoing research and analysis of financial automation technology topics.
• Research and write reports and briefs for our vendor and corporate audiences.
• Design and conduct Web and telephone surveys to stay abreast of the current and emerging needs of financial automation technology users.
• Backstop our consulting practice through custom research, specialized tools and models, and direct support during client engagements.
• Provide indirect marketing support by creating and maintaining research sales and marketing collateral.
• Drive research sales by cultivating existing client relationships and developing new prospects through direct sales calling, trade show appearances, speaking engagements, etc.

• At least three years of experience in a finance, banking, or back office financial operations such as A/P, A/R or Collections.
• Solid grasp of finance and accounting concepts.
• Demonstrated interest in technology.
• Top notch time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
• Superb organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Publisher, and Word.
• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
