Lavante and FlexTecs Partner
Anna Barnett 4 Sep 2015PayStream recently heard big news from one our partners, Lavante, a provider of on-demand supplier management and profit recovery solutions. Lavante has just joined forces with FlexTecs (Flexible Technology Solutions), a firm that specializes in accounts payable (AP) error prevention and recovery audit. This partnership will integrate the FlexTecs’ services framework and FlexTools with Lavante’s Connect Platform.
FlexTecs and Lavante will offer their newly combined capabilities through their sales channels, with joint FlexTecs/Lavante solutions available immediately. PayStream sees this move as a strategic success—by combining AP error prevention and recovery audit software, the two companies are providing the market with a strong profit recovery solution.
FlexTecs and Lavante believe that the market has a great need for this sort of cloud-based tool. The two companies say that organizations across all industries and sizes want to move past their reliance on lagging professional services or limited scope software. These organizations want a complete, flexible solution that prevents ongoing payment errors and adds better internal controls to all aspects of their payment process.
PayStream agrees. Our own Henry Ijams gave his take on the partnership in a press release earlier this week: “In an industry hampered by a lack data and recovery coordination, the Lavante-FlexTecs partnership significantly vaults contract compliance, error monitoring, and accounts payable recovery process to a new level and promises to deliver lasting value to enterprise clients.”
This is not the first time Lavante has combined technologies to create more powerful automation tools. They have seen the value in greater integration within their own product offerings, last year combining the capabilities of two separate solutions, Profit Recovery and Supplier Information Management (SIM). With these solutions tied together, Lavante customers are able to treat all of their supplier data with a single universal standard, while at the same time validating and auditing the data with a large set of localized controls. The Lavante SIM solution drives savings by removing extraneous costs out of the supplier management process, and Lavante Recovery retrieves otherwise lost profits from those suppliers with increased process visibility.
