Basware, a leader of eInvoicing and P2P solutions, has been selected for the 2014 Supply &
Demand Chain Executive 100. The annual award specifically highlights companies who have shown transformative and successful innovation in supply chain processing. Basware’s Invoice Automation solutions have specifically earned them recognition in this area.
Robert Cohen, vice president for Basware, North America, says that the recognition is a great honor. “We are committed to helping our customers automate key financial processes so they can gain critical visibility, control and accuracy across the financial supply chain and more effectively manage their cash and working capital.”
Evidence of Basware’s commitment can be seen in its solution’s successful implementation with an energy services provider. The provider has experienced dramatic changes in its AP department with Basware’s Invoice Automation solutions, which include Basware’s InvoiceReady, InvoiceReadyMobile, and Basware Scan & Capture, among others. With these solutions, the organization reduced its invoice processing time from 15 days to 36 hours, and is now saving over $300,000 a year by avoiding late and storage fees.
These improvements seem to fit the criteria for the SDCE 100 as explained by Barry Hochfelder, editor of Supply & Demand Chain Executive: “Our goal with this year’s ’100′ is to put the spotlight on successful and innovative transformation projects that are delivering bottom-line value to small, medium and large enterprises across the different functions that comprise the supply chain.”
Basware’s diverse solution functionality and its successful history aren’t its only assets; the company’s large open business network, Basware Commerce Network, which connects 1 million companies across 100 countries, also pushes Basware forward as one of the most empowering and innovative solutions providers on the market today.
