Two of PayStream Advisors’ sponsors have entered a promising partnership this week. BirchStreet Systems will now be selling BancTec’s invoice processing functionalities, including receipt, open, prep, scan and data capture, to their existing and future customers around the world. This collaboration will extend BirchStreet’s reputable P2P system, a fully integrated and automated end-to-end business process that helps companies gain efficiency, visibility and financial control. The companies’ integration of procure-to-pay and eInvoicing will help streamline the processes of an important industry.

BirchStreet solutions are specifically designed for hospitality and food service organizations, and their eProcurement and P2P systems are already in place in thousands of hotels, country clubs, casinos, entertainment venues and restaurants in over 78 countries. BancTec specializes in business process outsourcing (BPO), offering financial transaction automation and document management services. This collaboration will bring a whole new level of efficiency and productivity to BirchStreet’s customers in the hospitality industry.

The P2P solution created by this partnership has already attracted attention. Montage Hotels & Resorts, a luxury hotel and resort management company, has chosen the two providers’ services to centralize their AP operations with a streamlined system. Their vendors will now be able to submit invoices directly to BancTec for capture and integration with the BirchStreet system.
